Isabel Abedrapo is a Librarian with, Master's in Digital Information Systems and a Master's in Data Science, with experience in university libraries, information literacy in academic environments and scientific information management. Specialized in open science, data science and digital content, has worked on the design of strategies to improve transparency, access and reuse of scientific information.
Founder of Remolino, a consultancy dedicated to promoting ethical and collaborative knowledge management, Isabel is also a core team member of the Santiago Open Science Community.
She has participated in projects that integrate open science and evaluation of the impact of publications, advising editors, academics and organizations in the adoption of good practices to promote equity and collaboration in access to knowledge. She has shared her experience at national and international conferences, advocating for open and sustainable infrastructures for scientific research.
